Tsujita comes to us all the way from Tokyo, where they started their original restaurant in 2003. Following this, they opened their first American location in LA in 2011 and have now finally made their way to Houston! Throughout their journey, they have always focused on high quality artisan ingredients that highlight the flavors of Japanese cuisine. After our visit, we can indeed confirm that everything tasted incredibly high quality and authentic!

When we first walked into the new Westchase restaurant, we were truly blown away by the beautiful design and backdrop of the bar.

To start off our meal, we enjoyed the Tsujita Buns, Spiral Spicy Cucumber, and Takoyaki (Octopus) Balls. These classic Japanese appetizers are sure to get your appetite going, especially the fun Spiral Spicy Cucumber!

Central to their menu are their Artisan Noodle Bowls. Tsukemen, a cold noodle dish with dipping broth, is one of their most popular dishes, and we can see why! The broth was incredibly rich and flavorful. Since this type of bowl is not as commonly found at other ramen shops in Houston, it is a must-try!

Another delicious noodle bowl was the Deluxe Hakata-Style Tonkotsu. This more resembled a traditional Ramen and was every bit as delicious as the Tsukemen.

New to their menu was the Kama-meshi, a traditional rice dish cooked in an iron pot! This was our first time trying this type of dish, and we were obsessed. We could not get enough of the Wagyu and Kani-Ikura!

They also have a couple of vegetarian and kid-friendly options!

Our experience at Tsujita was wonderful, and we definitely recommend it for your next date night or fun dinner out with the family!
