Date Night Idea + Rug Tufting Workshops: Habibi Bazaar

Dive into the art of rug tufting at Habibi Bazaar, located at Spring Street Studios! At this new rug tufting studio, you’ll get to craft your own cozy masterpiece and unleash your creativity with colorful yarns and tufting tools.

Whether you’ve always wanted to learn to tuft a rug or just want to try your hand at a new craft, Habibi Bazaar is so much fun and the perfect date night idea or weekend activity to try with a friend, family member, or significant other! The owner and instructor is super sweet and amazing at what she does — you’ll surely have a blast while creating something truly unique.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

🖼️ You pick and submit your design, which will then be fine-tuned by the instructors with your final approval!

🧵 The skilled instructors will prep your canvas for you before class.

🪡 During the workshop, you’ll be guided through the entire process, starting with the basics and ending with a fully tufted personalized rug. And the professionals provide supervision and one on one’s throughout the whole session!

✨ From there, you’ll have the option to shave the rug yourself or leave it to the experts to shave and glue the backing onto the rug.

🤳 You’ll receive a text once your completed masterpiece is ready for pick up (approximately 3-5 business days after the workshop).

Workshops run between 4-6 hours. This includes all instruction and the supplies needed to create your own tufted creation for the day: large frame, tufting cloth, acrylic yarn, tufting machine, and backing. Definitely snag your spot in the next workshop soon!
