Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Tips

Rodeo Houston is in full swing, and if this is your first rodeo, we’re sharing some tips & must-do’s with our friends Reliant Energy!

• Come hungry and dive in on the unique eats like Pickle Pizza with Hot Cheetos and Bacon Bourbon Caramel Cheesecake on a Stick but also save room for the classics like a Turkey Leg and Cheese & Hot Cheetos Corn Dog — you’ll find all the best food outside throughout the park
• Take the sky ride right at sunset for EPIC views
• Take a photo in front of the iconic Reliant Big Boot or check out their photo booth in NRG Center Hall C Lobby!
• Stop by at the petting zoo to feed the baby goats, sheep, pigs, cows, and more
• Do some shopping for western wear and much more at NRG Center
• Stop by the Agventure area inside NRG Center and watch baby chicks hatch
• Don’t miss the rodeo for bull riding, mutton bustin’, calf scramble, and more
• If you have concert tickets, they’ll get you into the carnival grounds; if not, you can get grounds tickets separately
• Wear comfy shoes because you’re going to be doing a LOT of walking
• Try to use the rail if you can! Otherwise be prepared to walk or wait with general parking & rideshares
