New High Quality Sushi and Omakase Restuarant: Hachi

If you're on the hunt for top-tier sushi in Houston, Hachi should be at the top of your list! This brand-new spot has quickly become one of our favorites, and we’re confident it’s going to be booked once word gets out! From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere is welcoming and sleek, setting the perfect stage for the star of the show: the fish.

The quality of the fish is something to write home about. Hachi’s fish is flown in directly from Japan’s most renowned markets, and you can taste that freshness in every bite. During our visit, we opted for the Omakase experience led by Chef Leo, and we are so happy that we did!  Each course was a carefully crafted masterpiece, and the Kama Toro? Oh, wow– melt-in-your-mouth buttery and definitely a standout. But if you’re more into customizing your meal, you can also order from the à la carte menu, which has plenty of tempting options.

Beyond sushi, Hachi’s cocktail menu deserves a shout-out. We tried the Lavender Haze and Lychee Kiss, and both were refreshing, with just the right balance of sweetness and zing to pair with your sushi.

A recent addition to the restaurant is their Happy Hour, which includes fantastic food and drink specials. If you’re wanting to wind down after a busy day or kick off a night out, this is a great place to be. And trust us when we say we’ll definitely be back to enjoy these specials!
