Sizzling Parrilladas Served at New Location in Galleria Conservatory: La Taquiza

One of our favorite spots for street tacos, La Taquiza, has expanded! They have officially opened a new location at the Conservatory Galleria and have something magical up their sleeves—sizzling Parrilladas. This hot dish is only available at their Galleria location!

If you’re already familiar with La Taquiza then you know the drill: street tacos that hit the spot, soft tortas, melted quesadillas, their famous corn in a cup, and of course, refreshing agua frescas that quench the driest of thirsts. But if you're ready to try something new and exciting, the Parrillada is THE dish to order. 

Now, what exactly is a Parrillada? Picture this: a heaping platter of meats that arrive hot to the touch, sizzling, and cooked to juicy perfection. Whether you choose steak, chicken, chorizo, or all three, it’s a meat lover’s dream come true. Combine that with a spread of flavorful sides—rice, beans, grilled veggies, and tortillas—and you’ve got yourself a feast fit for royalty! 

It’s big enough to share, so order a Parrillada for Two or go all out with a Parrillada for Four. Grab a few friends, bring your appetite, and settle in for a good time accompanied by good food. By the way, La Taquiza offers a sweet deal every Wednesday: you’ll save $5 on a Parrillada for Two or $10 on a Parillada for Four. That’s a midweek win we can all get behind!

Plus, the atmosphere at the Conservatory Galleria makes it a perfect hangout spot to catch up with friends. It’s a beautiful food hall that features 11 varying food vendors and 2 vibrant bar concepts. Hop around from place to place or gather a little something from everywhere!

Oh, and their Understory location hosts Sunday Cazuelas Brunch! It’s an all-you-can-eat brunch with mole, tinga, chilaquiles, and so much more variety. They’re the only place in Houston that does it, so make sure to try it out, it takes place every Sunday from 10am-2pm.
