Thank you for 50K!

First off, I cannot thank each and everyone of you enough for helping us reach 50K! The past couples years of sharing our Houston adventures and connecting with all of you has been so much fun. It has been tons of work, but 100% rewarding every step of the way.

Some of you may have been following us since the beginning and some of you may have just recently stumbled upon our page. Whatever the case, I wanted to share the Houston Hotspots story and why we do what we do!

All three of us are Houston transplants, originally from Dallas. We moved to Houston three years ago and found a whole world of food. We tried going to all the restaurants we came across, but found rather quickly that there was just too many places! There was always some cool, hidden restaurant to try next that we heard from our friends. It became hard to keep track, so we figured why not just make a single page to record everything we enjoyed. And thus Houston Hotspots was born. Little did we know, it'd become a way to interact with the Houston community and encourage other Houstonians to explore their city. We love meeting people and hearing that you tried a place based on our recommendation, because that's what we are all about. Its about getting us connected with our city and helping our local businesses grow, and none of it is possible without y'all.
