The Heights Mercantile Farmers Market is a long-living Sunday tradition in Houston that we’re sure you both know about and love! They’ve recently turned 5! That’s right, 5 whole years of this beloved farmers market has passed– how time flies!

The market takes place rain or shine every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, and it is always the perfect wholesome Sunday activity in a lively, community-focused environment.

Look forward to a true open-air shopping experience. Fill your time perusing a diverse selection of vendors– providing everything from fresh vegetables, meat, and poultry, to seafood, bread, and coffee. You’ll find plenty of other unique offerings too, making it easy to stock up on locally sourced, high-quality ingredients for your week ahead. They’ve always been about bringing local farmers, artisans, and small businesses together to create a vibrant space for the community.

Not to mention, furry friends are welcome too! We love walking to the market on Sunday mornings with our dog, and our pup loves visiting all the vendors dedicated to pet treats and products!

Their anniversary event is always a blast with live music, free beverages, activities, and more. If you missed this year’s event (September 22), we highly recommend keeping your eyes peeled for next year’s celebration!
